Independence by Design (“the Programme”) is a 12-month educational and advisory service designed to support long-term physical independence, clarity and structured health planning.
The Programme is provided by Peter Bennett (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By enrolling in the Programme, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2.1 Independence by Design is an educational and advisory service.
2.2 It is not medical care, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, or any regulated healthcare service.
2.3 You remain responsible for your own health decisions and for consulting your GP or relevant healthcare professionals regarding medical concerns.
2.4 No specific health outcomes are promised or guaranteed.
The Programme includes:
Quarterly written reviews
90-day structured plans
Support between reviews (reasonable use basis)
Structured reflection and prioritisation
The exact format may evolve over time provided the core structure remains consistent.
4.1 The Programme fee is £4,800 for a 12-month term.
4.2 Payment may be:
Paid in full in advance, or
Paid via an agreed instalment plan.
4.3 Access to the Programme begins on the date payment is received unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4 All payments are in GBP.
5.1 The Programme is structured as a 12-month partnership.
5.2 Your term begins on your Start Date and runs for 12 consecutive calendar months.
The guarantees below apply to service delivery and suitability.
They do not relate to health outcomes.
If you decide the Programme is not the right fit, you may cancel within 30 calendar days of your Start Date.
To cancel, you must notify us by email within the 30-day period.
If cancelled within 30 days:
You will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the 12-month term.
Refunds are calculated from the date written notice is received.
Refund formula:
Refund = Annual Fee × (Remaining days in the 12-month term ÷ 365)
Refunds will be processed within 10 working days to the original payment method.
The 30-Day Fit Guarantee applies once per client.
Once your intake is complete and all requested information has been provided in usable form:
You will receive your first written review and 90-day plan within 10 working days.
If this deadline is missed due to our delay, you are entitled to £150 back.
This guarantee does not apply if delay is caused by:
Incomplete intake information
Missing documents or unclear data
Failure to respond to clarification questions within 5 working days
Circumstances beyond reasonable control
Requests under this guarantee must be made within 30 days of the missed deadline.
Payment will be made within 10 working days.
After the first 30 days:
The Programme fee is non-refundable.
If paying by instalment plan, remaining instalments remain payable for the 12-month term.
The Programme is designed as a year-long partnership and is priced accordingly.
You agree to:
Provide accurate information
Respond to reasonable requests for clarification
Take responsibility for implementation decisions
Continue appropriate medical care where required
The quality of results depends significantly on client follow-through.
All client information is treated as confidential.
We do not publish testimonials or case studies without explicit written permission.
You agree not to share proprietary written materials publicly.
All written reviews, plans, materials, and frameworks remain the intellectual property of Peter Bennett.
They are licensed for your personal use only.
They may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Programme.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
We reserve the right to decline applications if we believe:
The Programme is not suitable
Expectations are unrealistic
Medical complexity requires specialist care beyond scope
If declined before enrolment, no charge will be made.
Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
We may update these Terms periodically.
The version in effect at the time of enrolment governs your participation.
This is educational support, not medical care.
You get a 30-day pro-rata refund if it’s not right.
You get £150 if your first written review is late (after completed intake).
After 30 days, the 12-month commitment stands.
No health outcomes are guaranteed.
