My life

I’ve spent my life helping people heal — not just from pain, but from pressure, exhaustion, and the feeling of being stretched too thin. As a chiropractor, a coach, and someone who cares deeply about how we show up for each other, I’ve come to believe that health isn’t about perfection. It’s about staying strong enough, grounded enough, and kind enough to keep doing the work that matters. That’s what I live for — and what I’d love to help you protect in yourself.

Education

I trained as a chiropractor over 25 years ago, with a deep curiosity about how the body heals and a strong belief in gentle, natural approaches. Since then, I’ve continued to study movement, health psychology, and mind-body science — always with one question in mind: how can I help people live with more energy, ease, and purpose?

My Family

I live in Cumbria with my wonderful wife and our seven grown-up children, who continue to inspire and challenge me in all the best ways. Family is at the heart of everything I do — it’s where I’ve learned the value of patience, perspective, and showing up with love, even when life gets messy.

My hobbies

Outside my work, I find joy in simple, grounding things — sailing when I can catch the wind, walking through nature to clear my head, and keeping fit in ways that feel good rather than forced. I love making things with my hands, whether it’s a small home project or something creative just for the satisfaction of it. And writing is my quiet passion — a way to explore ideas, reflect, and share what I’ve learned along the way.

My Background

My journey began with a degree in molecular biology, followed by years of research into tropical diseases and clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies. While I valued the science, I eventually realised my purpose wasn’t in the lab — it was in helping people directly. That calling led me to become a chiropractor and later a life coach, where I now combine evidence-based thinking with deep care to support people who are making a difference in the world.

My projects

I split my time between a handful of meaningful projects — writing weekly reflections on health, purpose, and longevity over on Substack, learning new skills to keep my mind sharp and my coaching fresh, and slowly crafting books that I hope will help people live with more clarity, energy, and kindness. Everything I work on is grounded in one idea: to make life better for those who are trying to make the world better.
